ARLINGTON, VA (May 17, 2024) – For the seventh consecutive year, IntraFi was named as a top fintech to work for by American Banker, according to the2024 survey released last week.

IntraFi, which was one of 40 fintechs recognized by the media outlet, ranked among the top five companies receiving the award. The prominent liquidity management fintech, which invented reciprocal deposits, has always scored in the top 6 for American Banker’s Best Fintech to Work For since the list debuted in 2018. It has won the top spot twice, in the inaugural year and 2021.

American Banker praised IntraFi’s focus on work-life balance, citing its flexible teleworking policy, paid time off, and wellness resources.

Arlington, Va.-based IntraFi also ranked No. 12 in the Washington Business Journal’s large company category for best places to work in greater Washington.

The American Banker survey evaluated fintechs through a two-step process. The first part assessed the policies and employee benefits of nominated companies. The second assessed employees’ engagement and satisfaction through a survey of leadership, supervisory relationships, and the overall work environment. The rankings were compiled in conjunction with Best Companies Group.

The Washington Business Journal evaluated companies through a survey conducted by Quantum Market Research across 16 different categories, including employee engagement, communication, and team effectiveness. The Journal’s awards honor companies that create a meaningful and positive work environment for employees.

Deposit placement through an IntraFi service is subject to the terms, conditions, and disclosures in applicable agreements. IntraFi is not an FDIC-insured bank, and deposit insurance covers the failure of an insured bank. Deposits placed through CDARS and ICS are placed at FDIC-insured banks in IntraFi’s network and are eligible for FDIC deposit insurance coverage at network banks. Deposits that are placed through an IntraFi service at FDIC-insured banks in IntraFi’s network are eligible for FDIC deposit insurance coverage at the network banks. The depositor may exclude banks from eligibility to receive its funds. To meet conditions for pass-through FDIC deposit insurance, deposit accounts at FDIC-insured banks in IntraFi’s network that hold deposits placed using an IntraFi service are titled, and deposit account records are maintained, in accordance with FDIC regulations for pass-through coverage. Although deposits are placed in increments that do not exceed the FDIC standard maximum deposit insurance amount (“SMDIA”) at any one bank, a depositor’s balances at the institution that places deposits may exceed the SMDIA before settlement for deposits or after settlement for withdrawals. The depositor must make any necessary arrangements to protect such balances consistent with applicable law and must determine whether placement through an IntraFi service satisfies any restrictions on its deposits.
