Jeffrey B. Schreier

Jeffrey B. Schreier is an investment banker, strategic and operating consultant, and lawyer. Currently Eastern Region Manager of Metropolitan Capital Investment Banc, Mr. Schreier specializes in mergers and acquisitions (buy- and sell-side advisory), private placements and public offerings, corporate finance, joint ventures, restructurings, and divestitures.

Previously, Mr. Schreier served as Managing Director and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, Cohead of Corporate Development, and Head of Corporate Finance for BNY Mellon. He was responsible for the formation, reorganization, acquisition, integration, and management of businesses in the United States and abroad, including the planning and execution of the merger and consolidation of The Bank of New York Company, Inc. and Mellon Financial Corporation. Earlier, in the Legal Division, Mr. Schreier served as Head of Litigation, Corporate and Real Estate Restructuring, Bankruptcy, Banking Operations, and Human Resources.

Before joining BNY Mellon, Mr. Schreier was in private practice with Proskauer Rose. Mr. Schreier holds a JD from Washington University in St. Louis, an MA from the University of Michigan, and a BA from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
